Pitched by Glade Founder Curt Nichols:
We designed the Tenmile Helmet as an antidote to the monotone, mass-produced protection seen on ski mountains today. The helmet marries a classic silhouette with modern protection technology and shell innovation to provide a lightweight, bomber helmet that can keep up with you, no matter the mission. The artwork is inspired by its namesake, the Tenmile Range in our hometown of Breckenridge, Colorado. Stretching from Frisco to Blue River, the range is our backyard playground filled with a variety of terrain to suit any level of skier. Because of this, we designed the helmet to keep you warm on cold chair lift rides, but ventilate heat whenever a hike or skin is called for.
Safety features include an ABS high-impact plastic shell and engineering grade EPS liner to absorb and spread impact energy, and a full ASTM F2040 certification. A velvet liner, removable ear flaps, 10 vent system, and a rotating fit dial adjustment system wrapped in soft PU leather provide an unbeatable blend of safety and comfort. To top it all off, the helmet fits seamlessly with our Challenger, Adapt, and Pulsar goggles, so you can say goodbye to the gaper gap.
MSRP: $120
