The 2018 Winter Olympics kick off in just a few short weeks, and the U.S. team will be ready for the anticipated 20 degree weather with innovative heated jackets.
The patriotic red, white, and blue apparel features hidden heating components inside the jacket designed by Ralph Lauren. The innovative technology is made from carbon and silver ink printed on the apparel. The flexible ink conducts heat and is bonded to the inside of the jackets in the shape of an American flag, reports CNN Money.
A slim battery pack controls the heat, which could be set to high or low, and can last up to five hours on high and 11 on low.

From January 22 through January 24, Ralph Lauren will donate $1 to the U.S. Olympic Committee for every social media post that uses the hashtag #HeatTheWayForTeamUSA and receives a like.
