ST. PAUL, Minn. – Brilliant® Reflective – maker of enhanced visibility products that add an extra layer of safety to runners, walkers and cyclists – is heading to its first Outdoor Retailer Summer Market show later this summer. And Brilliant Reflective is bringing gifts.

For a limited number of retailers or their buyers who visit his booth, Brilliant Reflective president Nick Lipetzky will give away five custom performance T-shirts with the retailer’s logo heat transferred onto the front in full reflective glory. Bonus points will be awarded for bringing a memory stick or a web link with the shop’s high-res logo image. The free shirts will be distributed after the show.

Lipetzky says there are no stings attached to the giveaway at the booth, which will be located in the parent company’s Safe Reflections booth (PV3113) in the Pavilion.

“We want to make retailers’ trips to the Pavilion worth the time and energy,” said Lipetzky. “Sure, we’d like them to consider adding Brilliant Reflective tapes and iron-ons to their inventories, but this way they can try our product with their own individual twist on it at no cost to them.”

Brilliant Reflective was created by Safe Reflections, a company with more than 20 years of experience providing reflective solutions to the occupational safety, military training and consumer activewear apparel markets. “We’re positive retailers will see a T-shirt with their reflective logo front and center as not only a snazzy marketing tool, but as an option to some of the clunky vest options that are on the market,” said Lipetzky.

The shirts will be co-branded with a Brilliant Reflective logo on the back. Additional reflective elements will be added to the sleeves and other areas to demonstrate proper placement to maximize biomotion. Biomotion is created when a source light hits the reflective as it’s moving – creating the human form and showing a driver that you’re a person and not a mailbox. Studies show drivers react quicker when they know they’re approaching a human rather than an unknown object.
