In summer 2011, Swiss knitwear manufacturer ESCHLER presents a new FLASH fabric which utilizes the coldblack® technology by Schoeller. It allows dark textiles to no longer absorb, but reflect heat. Thus, coldblack® reduces heat build-up and provides reliable protection from UV-rays. Further, FLASH is a complex double layer knit with Polyester inside and Polyamide outside combining great moisture management with high abrasion resistance. For a tight, yet comfortable compression fit, ESCHLER adds Elasthane and also integrates carbon fibres for an improved temperature management.
e3 FLASH coldblack® is ESCHLER’s new high-tech fabric ideal for bikewear, running, triathlon or outdoor garments. Its complex double layer knit with Polyester on the inside and Polyamide on the outside makes the quality “dry in a flash”, delivers outstanding moisture management and fantastic cooling properties. The Polyamide outer material further guarantees a high abrasion and pilling resistance. For a tight, yet comfortable compression fit, ESCHLER adds Elasthane. And the integrated carbon fibres improve – according to the independent Swiss institute EMPA – the garments thermal regulation.
For even more high tech, the fabrics now also utilizes coldblack® technology by fellow Swiss company Schoeller. coldblack® reduces heat absorbancy in dark colored textiles and guarantees a high level of UV-protection.
