The Treadmill Factory invests 10 million dollars into new location

Markham, ON, Canada, April 8, 2013 -­‐The Treadmill Factory, a leader in the Fitness Equipment industry, announced today plans to open a new flagship location. The current 22,000 square foot location will move into an almost 80,000 square foot state of the art complex. When fully operational, the space will consist of a showroom showcasing the industries best brands, as well as distribution centres and company headquarters. The building has the capacity to facilitate more employees, including new roles such as product development advisory committees contributing to executing the companies’ visions. The expansion adds to The Treadmill Factory’s portfolio a full research and development department, functional and hands on laboratories, testing areas, full service facilities as well as employee common areas.

Design work for the new facility is under way with construction in the new space beginning April 8,2013. The facility will be fully operational by August 1st, 2013. In addition to the new Markham headquarters, the company is hiring and expanding its employee roster, which will focus on providing the best service and quality to the fitness equipment markets.
