Want to show your support for Bears Ears National Monument? We’ve partnered with Chaco to give away a sweet pair of limited-editon Bears Ears-inspired Z sandals, made in the USA.
Chaco recently debuted a collection of sandals, tees, and wrist wraps featuring the monument. All net proceeds will benefit Utah Diné Bikéyah and Friends of Cedar Mesa, two non-profit organizations working to defend Bears Ears.
“In our early days, we used to travel to Cedar Mesa to wear test our sandals and put them through the paces in the incredible landscape that is now the Bears Ears National Monument,” says Josh Weichhand, brand manager for Chaco. “We were early advocates of protecting the area. … We are also extremely passionate about protecting and defending our public lands. For Chaco, the ability to recreate, explore, and connect to our public lands is core to our consumers’ passions for the outdoors and our reason for being. Chaco stands for outdoor adventure, exploration, and community – and these values are all embodied in the debate around Bears Ears.”
