Good ideas are always welcome! In order to increase overnight accommodations, a caravan city will be set up this summer on the exhibition grounds. This "hotel on wheels" is called Hymer-City. During the two international trade fairs, OutDoor (19-22 July 2007) and EUROBIKE (30 August to 02 September 2007), Europe's leading manufacturer of caravans will be providing fifty 4-person caravans near the exhibition site.
The focus at OutDoor 2006 will be on the world of women, the first OutDoor Industry Award presentations and the establishment of the European OutDoor Group Foundation. The main event for the European outdoor industry in Friedrichshafen (Germany), is shaping up to be the biggest yet. OutDoor sets the pace on an international level. International participation is at a rerecord high of 79 per cent. 660 exhibitors, from 40 different countries will be a gigantic outdoor event on 29,500 square metres (new record) if display space. Nearly 100 top industry brands will be represented exclusively in Friedrichshafen. The trend fair on Lake Constance has become the largest in the international outdoor industry.
