Van Brinkerhoff, a highly regarded, experienced sales professional from the Pacific Northwest with a substantial background in ski retail, has been named as sales manager for the newly formed K2 Sports Winter Outdoor Group incorporating Madshus and Kahru products effective immediately.

After nearly a decade distributing the Madshus brand in the American marketplace, Alpina Sports and K2, owner of the Madshus brand, mutually terminated Alpina’s US distribution effective September 1, 2006. K2 will now distribute Madshus.
