United By Blue wants to hire two people for the ultimate dream job: a road trip to save the planet.

The sustainable outdoor apparel company focused on ocean conservation is seeking two candidates to spearhead its road-trip cleanup of 500,000 pounds of trash from waterways this summer, from mid May to early August.

For every product sold, United By Blue, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, promises to remove one pound of trash from our oceans and waterways.

So far, crews have already removed trash from waterways during 210 cleanups in 27 states. The road trip this summer will cover the remaining 23 states, from Pennsylvania to Nevada.

The two chosen Road Trip Crew Members will work within the Cleanups team to facilitate more than 2,000 volunteers, form relationships with specialty outdoor shops and non-profit conservation partners, and travel the country.

United By Blue desires candidates who are personable, professional, organized, have positive attitudes, and relish in the challenges that two months on the road will bring.

The roles also require strong communicators who are comfortable interacting with volunteers and new people on a daily basis, and don’t mind getting their hands dirty or the occasional evening spent camping in the Great Outdoors.

The deadline to apply is midnight on April 19. Apply at unitedbyblue.com/roadcrew.
