A trade show is a gold mine of visual display ideas. Exhibitors spend numerous hours and many dollars planning how to display the products they sell. After all, it is a competitive market and they often have only the trade show experience to make an impression on potential and returning buyers. So why not take their hours of preparation and display ideas back to your store?
You can so, very easily, if you know what to look for and how best to utilize what you see. And it has never been easier with the Merchandising Tours sponsored by the SNEWS® Retail College and Outdoor Retailer.
Merchandising expert Sharon Leicham will lead show attendees on two different tours of the Winter Market show floor, highlighting exhibiting brands demonstrating excellence in merchandising. Leicham will offer valuable advice to tour participants as well as a forum for peers to share their own merchandising experience.
The hour-long merchandising tours will depart from the Source and Design Center at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on both Friday, Jan. 22, and Saturday, Jan. 23. Tours will end at the SNEWS booth 28049 where we’ll provide every attendee with a handout, “How to shop a trade show for display ideas.”
RSVPs are recommended as Summer Market tours were packed. Send an email to merchandisingtour@snewsnet.com.
