Get visual at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market with two specially designed tours of exhibits to discover display ideas that retailers can take back to their stores and exhibitors can use to update existing booths.

Our first tour meets at SNEWS® booth #22050 at 10 a.m. on Wed. Aug. 4 and is designed specifically for retailers. Led by SNEWS merchandising editor Sharon Leicham, the tour will guide retailers on a tour of booths to uncover product display idea, find the best use of signage, examine how lighting affects product presentation, hone in on color and texture, and learn how the use of new materials can be used to enhance retail space. This tour is perfect for those retailers planning a store remodel, rebuild, or just wanting to find new ways to make their stores look updated and current.

The second tour, designed for exhibitors interested in updating their booths or creating new ones, meets at the SNEWS booth #22050 at 2 p.m. on Aug. 4. Tour leader Leicham will be joined by two directors from Salt Lake City-based, and award-winning Atmosphere Studios — Kurt Damshroder, design director, and Eric Krepela, production director. Atmosphere has designed a number of SNEWS “BOB” (Best of Booth) award-winners. This tour will seek out booths that use cutting-edge materials in booth construction and design with an emphasis on the use of green materials. Attendees will examine what makes a booth work and will learn how existing booths can be made more effective in promoting new products. This tour is not exclusive to exhibitors. Retailers are invited to attend and can learn a lot from these experts.

Each tour will end at SNEWS booth #22050 where we’ll provide every tour participant with a handout, “How to shop a trade show for display ideas.”

RSVPs are recommended. Send an email to merchandisingtour@snewsnet.com to get your name on our merchandising tour attendee list. Let us know when you send the email whether you are interested in the first or second tour, or both.
