When Brooks Sports customer service rep Elizabeth "Liz" Duncan was struck and killed by an out-of-control car while she was out for a run, the community and the company came together to found the Liz Duncan Memorial Scholarship Fund.

When Brooks Sports customer service rep Elizabeth “Liz” Duncan was struck and killed by an out-of-control car while she was out for a run, the community and the company came together to found the Liz Duncan Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Brooks has announced that individual and corporate donors have raised $23,984 since the April 2007 accident. The money was sent to Athletes in Action (AIA), a sports ministry that was important to Duncan. Student athletes who exemplify character, faith and passion qualities can apply for fund scholarships to attend AIA summer mission camps. Click here for a complete donor list.
