What artist wouldn’t want his or her work displayed at outdoor retailers and organic grocers around the world? Bottle company Sigg is seeking creative types to participate in its design contest, which is going on now until March 28.
Meredith Maldonado, Sigg spokeswoman, said winners would gain both exposure and financial rewards.
“The incentive is to have your design featured on the Sigg bottles that will be inducted into the permanent collection,” Maldonado said. Plus the winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize and a percentage of sales of bottles bearing their designs. There will also be a people’s choice winner and three runners-up (who will each get a cash prize).
The contest will feature guest judge Sarah Backhouse of the online video network Future360. For more information or to enter the contest, click here.
Sigg isn’t the only company launching a contest. Women’s-only apparel brand Lole announced today it will launch its 2012 spring and summer collection with a Facebook page makeover intended to increase friend and fan interaction.
The company launched its “Like Us and Tag Yourself” contest, in which users can tag themselves in a different look each week for four weeks, each week featuring apparel for a different activity. Fans who tag themselves will be entered into a weekly drawing for the brand’s products. For more information, click here.
