Tell us about the history of your company.

Ditum Group, a privately owned company, opened its operations in Chicago in 2006 and later moved to McAllen, Texas in 2009 with stocking warehouse facilities in Florida, Texas, Belgium and Mexico. The company focuses in the following segments: raw material trading with emphasis in the Americas and Asia; medical and wellness retail products with sales in North America, South America and Europe; ecological products worldwide; and discovery of innovative unique retail products for our target markets. We have positioned ourselves in bringing to the marketplace high-quality products that are both unique and refreshing.

Tell us about your brands and products.

Lavacare-Deep Heat is an ancient remedy for many problem areas. The Lavacare pack is filled with special lava sand, which has an outstanding ability to store heat or cold for long periods of time. The pack gives off deep, dry, radiant heat that reaches deep tissue areas thus alleviating pain, relaxing muscles and cramps and promoting improved circulation and accelerated metabolism. European retailers, spas and physiotherapists receive benefits of using Lavacare. It heats quickly in the microwave oven and cools quickly in the freezer.

What’s the one best feature of your product?

Lavacare delivers long-lasting, comforting warmth and adapts to the body’s own heat after use. In everyday use, Lavacare is used for preheating beds, wheelchairs and car seats. Lavacare is also used in physical therapy as an aid to improve the movement of individual joints with heat, massage and special exercise.

What were you, as the founder of the company, doing before this?

Business development/sales manager for different countries for a European company.



What has been your biggest challenge?


A direct correlation between mistakes, right decisions and financial results. Family, deep tissue penetrating heat and time.
