1% for the Planet Announces People for the Planet Awards

BURLINGTON, Vt. (April 24, 2020) — 1% for the Planet is proud to highlight the outstanding work of its network by recognizing select business and individual members as well as nonprofit partners  with a People for the Planet Award.

1% for the Planet’s People for the Planet Awards is an annual program that celebrates individuals, businesses and nonprofits who exemplify shared values and attributes that make their movement stronger and illuminate the path for others to follow.

These awards were decided via a two-phase process, including a nomination and vote phase. Both phases were open to the public and shared through various channels. The awards honor work achieved in the prior calendar year, in this case 2019. This year’s winners are:

Partnership of 2019: Khala & Company and the National Parks Conservation Association

Best Network Collaboration of 2019: Raw Office,Carbon Credit Capital and Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF)

Business Member Changemaker of 2019: Peak Design

Nonprofit Changemaker of 2019: One Tree Planted

Individual Changemaker of 2019: Clare Gallagher
