Golden, Colorado, July 20, 2006: James H. Moss, J.D., a nationally recognized industry expert in risk management and defense litigation for the outdoor recreation industry will be presenting a 2 day risk management seminar at the International Conference on Outdoor Recreation and Education in Boise, Idaho. This two-day seminar will concentrate on problems associated with running outdoor recreation programs and businesses. In addition, Jim will focus on how to teach this information to employees and students. Jim is the author of Outdoor Recreation Risk Management, Insurance and Law and is an adjunct professor at Colorado Mountain College and the University of Utah. Attendees will receive Jim Moss’s book Outdoor Recreation Risk Management, Insurance and Law published by Jones & Bartlett Publishing as well as the latest copy of Jim’s book Outdoor Recreation Forms.
Outdoor Recreation Risk Management Insurance and Law: A textbook written specifically for college and university outdoor recreation courses is new and written to provide an educator with the information to teach an outdoor recreation course. The book has also been designed for a outfitting or recreation business to use as a book on outdoor recreation legal and insurance issues.
The forms book has examples of the forms you need to run an outdoor recreation business, including releases, prepared by an Attorney. This book is only available at this conference.
