Seattle, WA/USA – April 17, 2009 –Sea Kayaker magazine, founded in 1984, is celebrating 25 years as the foremost authority on the sport of sea kayaking. We will be marking this date with the publication of the June 2009 Sea Kayaker issue. This 25th Anniversary issue will be on sale May 1st. In the issue, Bob Burnett, one of the paddlers who helped pioneer the now popular internet kayak clubs, talks about the future of kayaking the internet super highway and how the world wide web has lent itself to establishing a sense of community amongst paddlers, often worldwide. Also in this issue, we profile Chuck Sutherland and his decades-long mission to keep kayakers safe paddling on cold water.
