27th Annual Outdoors, Inc. Canoe and Kayak Race

Outdoors Inc., based in Memphis, TN is set to host their 27th Annual Canoe & Kayak Race. The event, May 3rd 2008, is the largest canoe and kayak race in the Southeastern United States! It has been voted “Best Race in America” by Paddler Magazine and Canoe and Kayak Magazine featured the Outdoors Inc Canoe & Kayak Race.



So far over 500 expert canoe and kayak paddlers have registered from all over the world. This year the event will showcase the following elite paddlers; US Olympic Paddler Greg Barton, Pan Am Medalist Michael Herbert. In the past other world renowned paddlers have participated in the race; Karen Lukanovich, South African Paddlers, Oscar & Herman Chalupsky, World Class Paddlers Rocky Caldwell, Dale Burris, Clifton & John Rickey, European Champion Paddlers Ekaitz Sayes, and US Wildwater National Team Member Chris Hipgrave.
