GCI Outdoor Showcases New Rocker Technology and More at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market

HIGGANUM, Conn. (August 9, 2021) – GCI Outdoor, creators of portable, durable and comfortable outdoor recreation furniture, is excited to introduce its latest rocking technology for the spring 2022 season. The new ComPack Rocker will feature GCI Outdoor’s all-new Torsion Rocking Technology™ which utilizes a cylindrical design for lightweight rocking.

The lineup for spring 2022 starts with the ComPack Rocker™ ($110) featuring patent-pending Torsion Rocking Technology™ which creates a smooth, relaxing  rock. It’s built with shock cord retention, setting up and breaking down easily and fits into a small and sturdy pouch with a carry strap. The ComPak Rocker ™ also features a mesh backrest to keep users cool, and a padded seat and headrest for added comfort. It is designed to keep in the car or throw in a backpack – making it the perfect chair for every occasion. 

Bring the comfort of the indoors right into the outdoors with the Freestyle Rocker™ with Side Table ($85) and Freestyle Rocker XL™ with Side Table ($95). This rocker is designed with patented Spring-Action Rocking Technology™ for a smooth rock wherever you set up camp or watch the game. The XL comes with a broader seat and backrest, and has a 400 lb weight capacity. The side table has a phone holder and deep cup holders in two different sizes to keep beverages in place while gently rocking. Both chairs also feature a convenient carry handle, mesh backrest and patented Eazy-Fold™ Technology.The Freestyle Rocker XL™ ($85) is based on the classic Freestyle Rocker and features a broader and tougher frame. This heavy-duty rocker has a 400 lb weight capacity, and was designed with patented Spring-Action Rocking Technology™, which allows for rocking smoothly on grass, gravel or sand. Outfitted with patented Eazy-Fold™ Technology, the Freestyle Rocker XL is easy to open and close, and also sports a carry handle to make transportation easy.
