BOULDER, CO (April 29, 2020) – Active Interest Media announces it launch of a new program designed to help brands boost e-commerce across multiple channels. “Gear 360” is a content-driven program that leverages the power of media reviews and consumer reviews in an integrated campaign.

Sharon Houghton, General Manager of the Active Living Group, said: “Media reviews and consumer reviews have existed in separate channels until now. Under this new program, the combined content will be distributed across media sites as well as Direct to Consumer e-commerce sites to maximize its effect, including increasing product purchases, enhancing consumer engagement, and assisting with product improvement.”

Active Interest Media is partnering with Channel Signal, the leader in collecting and analyzing consumer review data, to establish the highest level of trustworthiness in customer ratings through Gear 360.

“The unmatched credibility of our gear and product testers, combined with the technology of Channel Signal, creates an unprecedented combination that will benefit any brand that sells products directly to consumers online,” says Houghton.

The Active Living Group at AIM is pioneering the launch of Gear 360 with BACKPACKER, SKI, and Climbing magazines, and a similar program called “Health 360” through Yoga Journal and Clean Eating. The program will be deployed across AIM and its other brands in the coming months.
