Activewear Meets Streetwear: Stonewear Introduces New Performance Fabrics for Everyday Wear

Louisville, Colo. — (July 25, 2016) – Stonewear, the Colorado-based women’s apparel brand, will debut a new line of performance lifestyle apparel at the 2016 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market. The Spring 2017 lineup combines functionality with fashion statements, featuring transitional, everyday styles that look chic, but offer more in terms of performance.

As more women continue to blend fitness into their daily routines, they require more functionality from their wardrobes and clothing with versatile appeal that meets the needs of their busy schedules. “Today’s discerning female outdoor enthusiast wants unique pieces that look great but still perform to meet the demands of a multi-sport, active lifestyle,” notes Cassie Strid, Stonewear product manager.

Stonewear’s Spring 2017 collection brings an assortment of lifestyle apparel paired with performance fabrics, including Active Luxe fabric that looks and feels like your favorite cotton tee, but wicks moisture, dries quickly and allows your skin to breathe. Combining easy-to-wear, lightweight performance polyester and spandex, Active Luxe is designed to move with you. Heather Woven polyester wears more comfortably than jeans but offers more style than yoga pants for traveling and everyday urban adventures.

The trendsetting look for the season, Eyelet knit fabric offers a relaxed take on a classic style combining breezy, peek-a-boo eyelet with stretch, comfort and moisture management. Next, Stonewear continues to create boundary-pushing garments with contrasting natural and synthetic fibers for optimal performance and comfort. Silky soft Tencel is one of the most environmentally friendly, sustainable fabrics regenerated from wood cellulose. Stonewear blends Tencel with polyester and spandex to increase moisture management and breathability.
