adidas Athlete Sasha DiGiulian Dominates PanAmerican Championships
adidas Outdoor athlete Sasha DiGiulian, 20, continued her success at the PanAmerican Championships this past weekend in San Juan de Los Morros, Venezuela, taking three gold medals in the bouldering, sport climbing and overall individual categories.

Los Angeles, Calif. (November 14, 2012) – adidas Outdoor athlete Sasha DiGiulian, 20, continued her success at the PanAmerican Championships this past weekend in San Juan de Los Morros, Venezuela. Taking three gold medals, in the bouldering, sport climbing and overall individual categories, DiGiulian preserved her title as a PanAmerican Champion since she first competed in the event at age 11 in 2004.
“After taking six complete weeks off due to injury, I eased myself back into training, and couldn’t be more grateful that my patience paid off,†said DiGiulian. “Being on the sidelines was tough, so I was incredibly excited to be a part of this global event that I’ve participated in for so long. Now, I have earned my spot at the 2013 World Games and look forward to more competitions next year.â€
DiGiulian is currently first in the world ranking in the female outdoor sport climbing category and is the U.S. women’s national climbing champion. She is in her freshman year at Columbia University in New York, studying creative writing with a business concentration, hoping to apply her classwork in the sports marketing field upon graduation.
