adidas Outdoor Footwear Styles for Spring/Summer '16

Additions to the adidas Outdoor High-Performance terrex Line include the Much-Anticipated X-KING, as well as the Climacool Voyager Water Shoe Hiker

Los Angeles (July 30, 2015) – adidas Outdoor will unveil new footwear styles from its terrex line at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, designed to help outdoor athletes reach their ultimate goals. The adidas Outdoor designers created a range of versatile and lightweight products with a progressive, modern look for climbing, trail running, mountain biking, flying, kayaking or any activity. #livewithoutlimits.

terrex X-KING: Engineered with the experts at Continental®, the terrex X-KING offers a mountain bike tire for your foot. Manufactured just like a tire, the Continental® rubber compound is heat-pressed directly into the upper material and the weight is reduced so it is lower to the ground (6mm heel lift). The terrex X-KING offers everything for a mountain run: light weight, protection and extraordinary grip through Continental® rubber. 

Climacool Voyager: This quick-drying, lightweight hiker and water sports shoe with a running silhouette features a side ventilation drainage system to keep water out for breathable, dry comfort on wet trails. Additionally, the EVA cushioning is soft underfoot and harder on the outer rim for more stability and is easily packable for travel.

terrex Agravic: The terrex Agravic offers lightweight stability and protection when trail running, along with adidas’ proprietary BOOST™ cushioning technology. With its minimalistic design, the shoe features a breathable EVA tongue and Continental® rubber outsole for extraordinary grip at high speeds on dry and wet ground. Additionally, the lug profile was inspired by the Continental® mountain bike tire Der Kaiser 2.4 Projekt, offering optimal balance between friction and penetration. 

terrex Solo: The terrex Solo returns lighter, faster and more flexible for spring/summer ‘16. Built for the approach but ready to handle fast hiking and climbing with climbing zone and Stealth® rubber in the forefoot and TRAXION® outsole for enhanced ground contact and grip. 

terrex Scope High: This lightweight, high-cut alpine approach shoe with ankle protection offers a GORE-TEX® membrane and ADIPRENE® heel cushioning and features a STEALTH® rubber on the outsole for unbeatable grip and control on wet and rocky terrain. It is an ideal shoe for technical and long approaches with small climbing and scrambling in between. Also available in a low-cut version.
