ADIDAS Outdoor Named Title Footwear Sponsor For Audi Power Of Four Trail Run Aug. 5-6 In Partner With Aspen Skiing Company

adidas Outdoor, the athletic brand in the outdoors, was named title footwear sponsor of the Audi Power of Four Trail Run Series, the summer event of the winter Power of Four Ski Mountaineering Race, in collaboration with Aspen Skiing Company, Aug. 5 – 6, 2017. The event is a premier endurance race series utilizing the scenic and challenging terrain of each of the four Aspen Snowmass mountains. Each race is designed to test the limits and skills of both elite and recreational athletes. As part of this sponsorship, adidas Outdoor will have onsite presence throughout the event including brand activations at the start and finish.

The event’s signature race is a challenging 50K Ultra. It covers the four Aspen Snowmass mountains, Aspen Mountain, Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass, utilizing a mix of singletrack and dirt road. The event also offers a 25K race along the famed Government Trail covering Buttermilk and Snowmass mountains, a 10K on Snowmass Mountain, and a Vertical K race up Aspen Mountain. For the 50K race, the first male and female finishers will be awarded $1,000, second place will receive $500 and $250 for third place. The first male and female finishers in the 25K race will be awarded $300, second place will win $125, and third place $75.

Vertical K’s first place finishers will win $150, second place finishers will receive $60, and $40 for third place. Other awards, such as adidas Outdoor gift cards for top three winners of each race, will be provided for winning participants. All participants will receive an adidas Outdoor bag with promotional items.
