Backpacker’s ambassador Randy Propster will present an engaging 75-minute seminar full of trail-tested tips, regional trip advice and outdoor gear. The Tour will travel to 48 states, presenting at 45 outdoor retailers, hosting 5 on-the-trail adventures and attending 5 outdoor festivals during the months of April through October. Attendees will be shown the new Adventure Medical Kits’ Mountain Series first aid kits featuring the most up-to-date guidelines and medical grade products available for when wilderness emergencies arise.
Adventure Medical Kits’ new series features six kits including the comprehensive Mountaineer, packed with quality supplies to treat ten people for twenty-eight days, to the super-compact and ultra-light Day Tripper Light Kit, ideal for up to two people on a day hike. Available in April 2017, the kits range in price from $15 to $200 and are fully equipped for day hikes, multi-day backpacking trips or expeditions. Housed in a water resistant trapezoidal shaped bag, the back of each kit features an exclusive map that lists all supplies and clearly shows where they are located within. The interior pockets are organized and labeled by injury to help users find what they need fast.
