Alite Expands Outdoor Furniture Offering with the Cabin Series

San Francisco, CA – Alite Designs, an outdoor gear company based in San Francisco, is bridging the gap between indoor and outdoor furniture with its new Cabin Series for Spring 2014. The Cabin Series continues Alite’s dedication to creating beautiful, lightweight, collapsible furniture, while offering sizes and styles that work as well on the back porch as they do at the campsite. Alite is set to launch the Cabin Series at Outdoor Retailer Summer 2013 with the Bison Chair, the brand’s first full-size lounger as well as the Treeline Table, the first fully collapsible outdoor table that includes telescoping legs for height adjustments on any terrain.
“Inspired by Eames’ contribution to mid-century modern design, the Cabin Series was created to offer beautiful form and comfortable feel while fulfilling the multiple purposes of indoor, outdoor, and camping furniture,” explains Tae Kim, creative director and founder of Alite Designs. “As always, we focused on portability, durability and clean, solid design. This furniture is perfect for a comfortable campsite as well as the screened-in back porch. And at the end of the summer season, the entire furniture set can pack up neatly into your closet.”

The Treeline Table is a portable, collapsible table for indoor and outdoor settings. While most outdoor tables are too heavy, bulky, or feature a loose surface that cannot support cups and bottles, the Treeline Table can adjust to offer an exceptionally tight, flat surface. Easily adjustable leg heights allow the table to function on any gradient or terrain type.
