Montebello, Calif. (Jan. 22, 2015)—Allied Feather & Down, leading supplier and processor of down to the outdoor and home markets, has continued their pledge for environmental responsibility by becoming the newest member of The Conservation Alliance. The announcement will be made at the Conservation Alliance’s annual breakfast at Outdoor Retailer today, January 22, 2015.
The new partnership will continue to help support and bolster the Alliance’s efforts to work directly with outdoor industry companies to fund conservation organizations working to protect North America’s last wild spaces.
“We are proud to be a part of The Conservation Alliance and the efforts led by the organization to help preserve and protect our country’s wilderness,” said Daniel Uretsky, President of Allied Feather & Down. “Conservation and sustainability is a top priority for our business and for our industry. It all goes back to the basics of why we are here—we all share a passion for getting outside.”
“We welcome this new partnership and look forward to working with Daniel and his team to support key conservation initiatives in North America,” said John Sterling, Executive Director of The Conservation Alliance. “Allied shares our commitment to protecting wild places and we appreciate their support.”
