Amer Sports Winter and Outdoor Americas announces the appointment of Derek Hancock as commercial and sales manager for Arc’Teryx in the United States. In his new position, Hancock will be responsible for driving sustainable growth while maintaining and enhancing brand positioning for the outdoor apparel manufacturer.
Hancock’s career in the Outdoor Industry spans more than 20 years. Most recently, he handled specialty and national key sales accounts for The North Face in the US.

Hancock holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Michigan State University. He enjoys many outdoor activities including skiing, cycling, hockey, hiking and backpacking.
