Anytime Fitness kicks off 13-club network with West Bend location

West Bend, WI – Anytime Fitness of Wisconsin, franchisee for one of the hottest fitness club chains in the market, launches plans for a network of Wisconsin locations with the opening of a 4,000-square-foot West Bend location.
Focusing on smaller markets with unmet needs, Anytime Fitness plans to open 13 facilities within 24 months, with facilities in Green Bay and Marinette slated to open in November.
Although Anytime Fitness facilities are best known for round-the-clock operations in a no-frills setting, Anytime Fitness of Wisconsin operating partner Karmen Smith said the Wisconsin facilities will be distinguished by a full complement of sleek new Precor Experience® line cardio equipment, Cardio Theater entertainment systems and Precor Icarian strength equipment. As a preferred supplier, Precor exclusively is fulfilling Anytime Fitness of Wisconsin’s full complement of cardio and strength equipment needs.

Smith added that the Anytime concept is a good match for Wisconsin for several reasons.
“First, in many of the areas we’re locating a facility, there aren’t many fitness options — and even in the cases there is a club, the limited hours of operation can be a challenge,” she said explained.
Smith said consumer response to Anytime has been especially strong in industrial communities where “third-shifters” have few fitness choices.
“Basically, what we’re seeing in many communities is that if you don’t work a traditional nine-to-five workday, the odds were pretty thin that you’ll be able to bring fitness into your day,” Smith said.
Open 24-hours a day, Anytime Fitness of Wisconsin facilities exclusively will feature Precor equipment.
