Bozeman, MT (June 2, 2021) – Originating as a winter-focused brand, with ambitions of offering year-round specialty outdoor apparel, Beringia proudly introduces its first collection of summer essentials.
Rooted in the design of performance outdoor gear with Japanese sensibility and detailing, Beringia creates products with long lasting, test-quality fabrics, and their latest launch is no exception. Included in the Summer 21 launch are several soft summer-weight Cordura pieces, Masters of Bishu AXIO merino T-shirts, and a fresh look at a technical mountain sweatshirt. The Octa Anorak is a highlight of the S21 launch. Whispy nylon is body-mapped with fast drying and wicking OCTA insulation in “chill” zones offering dynamic heat retention. Unlike most Anoraks on the market the Octa is in a category of its own, a one-of-a-kind layer that effortlessly combines style with function and floats above your skin.
Pushing the fast and light side, Beringia introduces an ultralight top and bottom, as well as a ‘biomimetic’ active rainsuit. The ultralight top and bottom are constructed of Pertex Quantum Air fabric, making them extremely lightweight, compactable, and quick drying. Weighing less than 3 ounces, these exo-layers are the ultimate high-alpine survival pieces when it is critical to stay warm and dry. The Dragonfly Rainsuit (top and bottom sold separately) is made from Beringia’s proprietary Dragonfly rain shell fabric, featuring a made-in-Japan, three-layer, thin-film laminate, with a 20,000mm waterproof rating.
