Aravon Introduces GO Ad Campaign for 2007

Beginning in March, Aravon will launch a new consumer print advertising campaign to introduce their 2007 comfort performance footwear line.

BOSTON, March 2007—Beginning in March, Aravon will launch a new consumer print advertising campaign to introduce their 2007 comfort performance footwear line. The campaign highlights Aravon’s high-level blend of style, fit, support and cushioning that helps support a woman’s sense of well-being, interests and style.

Aravon’s current comfort performance footwear, including best-selling styles such as the Lauren and the Monica, will be featured in the campaign. The ad urges the consumer to “Go” with shoes that “take you beyond the far reaches of your busy day to any place that your heart desires.” Like Aravon’s earlier ad campaign, the focus remains on the product, however, for the 2007 ads, the tone is more aspirational, helping to convey the inspired sense of living Aravon shoes promote.

For 2007, Aravon’s ads aim to connect with its female consumer on two levels. First, the ads acknowledge the importance of health and wellness by encouraging this baby boomer-aged female to get up and be active. Secondly, the ads demonstrate the understanding of this woman’s love of travel. “When it comes to footwear, understanding a woman’s wants and needs are essential,” says Gretchen Weimer, Aravon’s Brand Manager. “By recognizing who this woman is and what is important to her, we can provide her with a shoe that gives her what best fits her lifestyle.”

The Aravon brand worked with Heckler Associates of Seattle, WA, who developed the campaign. The Go ads will appear in Body & Soul, Natural Health, Budget Travel, and Yoga Journal beginning in March 2007.
