Arc'teryx Debuts New Gore-tex® C-Knit Styles for Fall 2015 // Optimized Comfort, Less Weight, Better Breathability

Delivering durable weather protection with increased wearing comfort, ARC’TERYX proudly introduces its new collection of sturdy garments utilizing new GORE-TEX® C-Knit™ – the lightest in class Tricot backer textile that offers an exceptionally soft next-to-skin feel with all of the protection of a 3-layer fabric.

Ideal for hikers, trekkers and aerobic enthusiasts, this patent-pending laminate technology improves wearing comfort through its proven bi-component GORE-TEX® membrane system that is bonded to an extremely thin, dense yet lightweight circular knit backer. The result is an incredibly lightweight, highly breathable garment that offers complete protection and optimized comfort.

Rugged enough for trekking the tallest peaks or spinning through city landscapes, GORE-TEX® C-Knit™ will be available in five key ARC’TERYX styles for Fall15.

Headlining the assortment is the new Zeta LT Jacket, a lightweight, easily packable waterproof / breathable jacket built for being on the move. The jacket’s sturdy face fabric means it can handle the toughest mountain conditions when hiking or trekking, but the circular knit backer technology offers an excellent next to skin feel while also allowing it the jacket to slide easily over under layers. The low profile StormHood™ is always ready when you need it, the two hand pockets with WaterTight™ zippers keep everything secure and the drop back hem with adjustable drawcords provides extended coverage for when nature turns nasty.

Made specifically for mountain training and high aerobic output activities, the new Norvan Jacket features an innovative Venturi style venting system that pulls air through the openings in the underarm for continuous venting, enabling enhanced thermo regulation during high output activities. Exceptionally lightweight, the Norvan provides unparalleled moisture management and temperature regulation, while also sporting a fitted hood with elasticized brim to ensure complete visibility when in use, an internal laminated security pocket for keys or credit cards, and reflective treatment on the back and sleeves for nighttime safety.

The perfect companion for everyday urban outings, the new trim fitting Interstate Jacket is the ultimate lightweight, supple waterproof jacket that can handle unexpected changes in city weather and rhythms. Super clean and minimalist, its low profile StowHood™ zips neatly into the collar for a clean look when not in use and the two bellowed hand pockets with hidden zippers gobble up gear while remaining covert. Side hems cinch down and snap cuffs provide adjustability to reduce cold drafts. Sharp looking, the Interstate Jacket is stripped down of the outdoor markers and offers cleaner style lines with more versatility.
