Asheville, NC – One of the leading providers of Personal Flotation Devices, Asheville-based Astral, is excited to announce its partnership with neighboring boutique agency, Darby Communications. Effective immediately, Darby Communications will share Astral’s message of intuitive and socially conscious designs and products for the outdoor and river sports community.
“We’ve always admired the ingenuity and quality products from Astral and are extremely proud to partner with this leading paddle-sports brand, says Coral Darby, founder of Darby Communications. “We both share Asheville as a hometown so it will be especially rewarding for us to communicate their brand messaging with a larger outdoor community.”
Astral has maintained a vast presence in the industry for 10 years, by pushing the design of technical whitewater PFDs to new standards. Astral’s immense success in the outdoor industry can be attributed to founder and design architect, Philip Curry. The entire Astral Team is a passionate group of athletes and industry professionals whose products display an impressive balance of modern design, appropriate technology , and environmental consideration. Their goal for Astral is to make an impact in people’s lives – to inspire and motivate – both in and out of the water.
Darby Communications will share information on the brand and Astral’s arsenal of products including their first ever shoe, the Brewer. Offering boaters the perfect balance between performance and wearability, the extremely lightweight Brewer is based on Astral’s “Natural Balance” draining midsole with Cordura® uppers and core-user favorite Stealth® rubber outsoles.
