Steamboat Springs, Colo.- Montreal, QUE –August 23th, 2017. Chaos Headwear, makers of high quality headwear in the U.S. and worldwide announces team member with new top world rankings. Thanks to some unprecedented wins in Europe and North America this season, top ranked Chaos athlete and Freestyle skier Sofia Tchernetsky will join the Canadian National Team as its youngest member and compete in the World Cup.
With eleven wins this season alone, Sofia’s most notable recent achievements are her victories on the NorAm circuit, and being crowned the #1 North American Champion of 2017 overall. At just 14, Sofia was the youngest athlete ever to enter this circuit.

Sofia also had two podium wins at the Europa Cup in Austria and took Finland by storm when she dominated two competitions in Slopestyle and Halfpipe at the Mercedes Benz Finland Tour in Ruka. At Absolut Park in Austria, she overcame icy conditions to demonstrate her advanced skills.
Known for her razor sharp focus and unstoppable energy, Sofia is ready to tackle the challenges the 2017/2018 season will bring.
