SALEM, Mass.- January 16, 2018
Avalanche (www.avalanchewear.com), the outdoor inspired apparel company family owned and operated since 1987, continues its tradition of offering luxurious fleeces, performance shells and baselayer designs for 2018, while incorporating Polygiene natural anti-bacterial protection within its baselayer collection. Maintaining its usage of DuPont™ Sorona®, made from annually renewable plant-based ingredients, Avalanche will also introduce PrimaLoft Eco for fall ’18 insulated styles.
At Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show, Avalanche will showcase its core apparel line, as well as its new, high-performance Pinnacle collection, offering consumers more technical options with the Avalanche style and quality they know and love.
“Our fall 2018 line represents a new chapter of more technical performance options for the Avalanche brand,” said Ronny Petrucci, Avalanche COO. “While being mindful of the footprint we leave and important issues close to our consumers’ hearts, we also felt the time was right to create a higher-level offering within our collection that remains true to the heritage of our brand.”
Polygiene uses low concentrations of silver salt (silver chloride), which has antimicrobial properties and is naturally present in water and soil, to safely eliminate the ability for bacteria and fungi to grow. Avalanche’s Mont Blanc collection of baselayer tops and bottoms for men and women will all feature Polygiene protection.
