Aventura Expands Eco-Friendly Offerings for Spring ‘14

Continuing with their commitment to making a minimal impact on the Earth, seventy-five percent of Aventura’s spring ’14 collection is comprised of eco-fabrics such as rayon from bamboo, organic cotton, hemp, recycled polyester and modal.

Secret Garden – Inspired by feminine, flirty styles with a fresh spring palette, the Catina Tank has empire waist styling and a lace overlay across the tank’s shoulders which extends onto the back. A blend of 50% organic cotton and 50% polyester make this striped tank extremely soft and comfortable. Available in four colors for spring including Frost Grey (pictured). MSRP $55.

The romantic floral details on the Ballari Skirt make it a piece that transitions effortlessly from day to evening wear. An embroidered flower pattern with felted flower appliques and a roll top waistband that allows for adjustability in length are what make this skirt so unique. For those days filled with fun and adventure, Aventura introduces the Greenwood Capri and Shorts, a series of quick drying bottoms made from a combination of recycled and traditional polyester with an added bit of spandex for comfortable mobility and stretch. Serendipity – Bright and fun, the Mayfield Top is part of the Serendipity collection, inspired by the vibrant colors and abstract shapes of the mid-century modern trend. A flattering summer tank, the Mayfield Top has Dolman sleeves and is an eco-friendly blend of rayon from bamboo and modal with a slight bit of spandex jersey, for the right amount of stretch for a perfect fit. Earthy and free-spirited, the all-natural blend of hemp and organic cotton in the new Linden collection includes a button-front skirt, shorts and pants that feel and drape like linen but don’t wrinkle or stretch out after a day of wear. The Linden Skirt has front and back pockets with metal buttons up the front and an 18.5” inseam. Both the Linden Shorts and Pants include eye-catching details like a back yoke, removable braided drawstring belt and tabbed snap pockets on the back.
