Reno, NV – Aventura is proud to debut its Fall ’16 collection of whimsical sweaters, tunics, tops, dresses and skirts that combine influences from Mayan patterns, the Pacific Northwest and the cool colors of the famous Northern Lights. New for 2016, Aventura is introducing athleisure pieces that flow well from yoga to a post-stretch coffee date with friends, as well as expanding their sweater selection to include merino wool, with its great wicking and anti-microbial properties.

Fashion and function collide in Aventura’s new merino wool sweaters and skirts. The Sloan Tunic ($129) features a beautiful zip front with slimming contrast stripes down the front and contrast trim. This merino wool tunic looks great layered over leggings or skinny jeans. For those who prefer not to always wear a coat, the heavier weight Sienna Sweater ($109.00) serves as a Swacket – a combo between a sweater and a jacket – with pockets to keep hands warm. In addition to the sweaters, Aventura also has two merino wool skirts in the line, the Nordic-inspired Blanche Skirt ($82) and the brightly geometric patterned Petra Skirt ($82), with stretchy waistlines for comfort and ease of wear. Aventura has created athleisure pieces to outfit the busy woman who enjoys this casual style. The Leonie Tunic ($87) is a fleeced, organic cotton tunic that is super soft against the skin and has a jersey knit exterior. Ruching at the sleeves and sides, and a loose cowl neck give this tunic a stylized fit. When temps drop, the Karter Hoody ($99) or Kenna Hoody ($119) is the perfect ¾ length organic cotton jacket to pull on with a pair of yoga pants or leggings. The reverse zipper makes sitting in the jacket easy and thumbholes in the sleeves keep wrists and hands warm. Another great athleisure piece is the Ivy Jacket ($92), a cotton fleece jacket with an asymmetrical zipper, moto collar and zip pockets to keep belongings safe. It pairs nicely with the poly-filled, quilted Cambri Skirt ($59), a slimmed down version of the puffy skirt with ring snaps up the side and an elastic back for a perfect fit. The Brooklyn Tunic ($75) is a relaxed organic cotton sweatshirt tunic with a slouch neck with space-dyed fabric, rolled trim and contrasting hemline. In addition to these items, Aventura is paying homage to their parent company with a ski-inspired sweater based on an original Sportif sweater from 1978. The Reeva Sweater ($79), a retro ski sweater made of the super luxurious viscose and nylon blend that makes it unbelievably soft and supple comes in an array of bright, exciting colors and has the traditional ski sweater cut and stripes reminiscent of the 1970’s.
