Avid4 Adventure hiring a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

The nation’s leading outdoor adventure summer camp is hiring for a new CMO to lead their continued growth and expansion strategies.

Boulder, Colo. (For Immediate Release):  Dream job.  Avid4 Adventure is hiring a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). The new CMO will become part of a team of people who all share the belief that participation in the outdoors has the power to transform kids’ lives. The mission of Avid4 Adventure is to empower kids to choose active and healthy lifestyles in the outdoors. They transport campers to authentic local recreation areas and teach them to climb, bike, paddle, hike and thrive in the outdoors. 

“Fundamentally, we get kids outside and away from screens,” said Avid4 CEO Paul Dreyer. “And perhaps even more importantly, we teach kids and teens to assess risks, use sound judgment, and believe in their abilities.” 

Through summer day camps, overnight camps, expeditions, and events, Avid4 Adventure inspires tens of thousands of kids and teens every year to lead active lifestyles.  

The new CMO will lead and guide our conversations around strategic planning, revenue growth, product development, marketing, branding, and partnershipsIn partnership with other members of the executive team and the current Marketing Team, the CMO will help move Avid4 towards its 10-year vision, focusing on expansion to new customer segments and partnerships, while ultimately strengthening systems and operations.

Avid4 Adventure was founded in 2004 in Boulder, CO. Currently, they operate in Colorado, California, and Oregon.  In 2022, they will be opening camps in additional areas, including the Midwest and the East Coast.  

Avid4 CEO Paul Dreyer: “It is our responsibility at Avid4 Adventure to be a part of larger, national conversations around things like equity and diversity in our natural environments and competitive compensation for all in the outdoor industry.  To be of value in those national conversations, we need to have a local presence in more urban areas across our country.”

Although Avid4 is headquartered in Colorado, the CMO will have the flexibility to work from home or another off-site location.
