Beachburg, Canada: Submissions for the inaugural BackpackingTV Buyer’s Guide are now being accepted. The Buyer’s Guide series will be released through the BackpackingTV YouTube Channel as well as shared through Facebook and Instagram. With 68,000 subscribers and 5.6 million views, BackpackingTV is one of the most popular hiking and backpacking focused YouTube channels in the industry.
Produced by Heliconia, BackpackingTV’s Buyer’s Guide is an authentic and unbiased video series showcasing the year’s best hiking, camping and backpacking products. The series will be hosted by highly regarded and passionate backpacker, influencer, TV show host and YouTuber, Eric Hanson. Eric’s reviews will help campers, hikers, and backpackers make informed purchases. “The hiking and backpacking world has seen a huge influx of people joining the ranks of nature lovers these past two years, in large part due to COVID-19,” explains Eric. “And most of these people are searching for some direction and help in their gear purchases and in developing the skills to be self sufficient on the trails. My aim is to provide authentic, genuinely helpful reviews and tutorials aimed for beginners to experts alike.” Once he has fully reviewed and tested each product, Eric will recognize the best hiking, camping and backpacking products of the year with BackpackingTV’s Best-In-Class Awards. The series will not be pay-to-play.
