(Salt Lake City, UT) – AxlsCloset.com, a brand new, one-stop online shop for kid’s apparel from the surf, skateboard, outdoor and active lifestyle markets, has partnered with America’s Promise Alliance and Boobs on the Move as a part of the company’s continued commitment to give back to organizations that help youth in need.

As part of its 1% For Kids Initiative, Axl’s Closet will donate 1% of every sale to a new organization every month. For the next few months that donation will go to America’s Promise Alliance (the Alliance), the nation’s largest partnership network dedicated to improving the lives of young people. Under the leadership of its current Chair, Alma Powell, and Founding Chair, General Colin Powell, the Alliance is a cross-sector partnership of more than 350 corporations, nonprofits, faith-based organizations and advocacy groups that are passionate about improving lives and changing outcomes for children.

“The mission of America’s Promise Alliance is to make sure all children and youth have the fundamental resources they need to graduate from high school and succeed,” said Axl’s Closet Founder Steve Genzler. “With its partners, the Alliance has the ability to impact millions of lives, so choosing it as our first 1% For Kids donation recipient was a no brainer. We are proud to help the organization in any way we can.”

Axl’s Closet has also collaborated with the Alliance on a custom designed t-shirt that is sold on the site with proceeds benefiting the Alliance.

Also during the month of February, Axl’s Closet is partnering with Boobs on the Move, a grassroots effort to raise money for breast cancer research through the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The organization hosts multiple events each year in the San Diego and Orange County areas and since its inception in 2005, has contributed over $262,000 to the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure.

Members of Boobs on the Move will receive a promo code to be used on AxlsCloset.com and 10% of every purchase made with the code will then be given back to support the efforts of Boobs on the Move to help raise awareness, fund a cure and support women fighting breast cancer.

About AxlsCloset.com
