Beginning this week, Dax Kelm and Lindsay Brown will join the Backbone family. These hires expand PR account management and media buying capabilities in the Jackson and Carbondale offices.
With over 10 years of experience in the action sports, cycling, running and outdoor industry, Dax Kelm makes the leap to Backbone Media after working with Carmichael Lynch Spong, formerly Stanwood & Partners PR in Jackson, Wyoming. Prior to CLS, Dax worked with Teton Gravity Research, where he served in a variety of marketing and film production roles. Dax is based in Jackson and will manage all PR efforts for Electronic Systems Consultants, and InPower Systems, an alternative energy solutions company.
Lindsay Brown comes to Backbone Media from Rock and Ice/Trail Runner magazine where he managed a wide range of duties in their circulation department. With over 25 years of experience in the outdoor industry, Brown will be managing media buying responsibilities for Backbone.
