Backpacker Magazine Announces Launch of Nationwide 2017 Get Out More Tour

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Boulder, Colo. (March 2017) – Backpacker Magazine announces the launch of the 18th annual Get Out More Tour, an interactive mobile media and education outreach program designed to inspire readers and encourage participation in active outdoor pursuits.
The Get Out More Tour collaborates with 45 specialty outdoor retailers who share the same education and outreach ethic with their customers. At each retail stop, the Get Out More Tour Brand Ambassador Randy Propster brings the pages of Backpacker Magazine to life with a 75-minute seminar on trip planning, choosing the right outdoor gear and apparel, safety in the outdoors and more.
The Get Out More Tour hits the road April-October visiting 45 outdoor retailers and five outdoor festivals. Get Out More Brand Ambassador Randy Propster will also lead five on-the-trail adventures across the United States to bring BACKPACKER’s skills, gear and trip advice to life audience of outdoor enthusiasts.
