Balega Introduces New Contour To Popular ‘Hidden’ Line

Hickory, NC (June 27, 2013) – Balega International introduces the Hidden Contour sock, a new product offering for Summer 2013. The new sock was developed in response to runners’ feedback around the popular Ultralight sock as a protective, cushioned option to the thinner, second-skin fit of the Ultralight. The new Hidden Contour rounds out Balega’s signature ‘Hidden’ performance line with a design that provides both cushioning and more tactile fit.
“We’ve seen runners move into two distinct groups: those who want a roomier, cushioned feel, and those who prefer a tighter, firmer fit,” said Tanya Pictor, VP of Sales and Marketing for Balega. “The Hidden Contour bridges the gap between the two for a supportive yet close fit.”
The Hidden Contour is designed with the following Balega features and technologies:
- Complete hand-linked toe seam reduces friction and exposure to blisters
- Unique positioning of varying elastic bands in three distinct elasticized zones: Arch support band, a diagonal high arch and a unique ankle band wrap Y-heel construction creates a deep heel pocket for ultimate fit Sensitive ankle band for added comfort
- Full mesh top panel for increased ventilation combined with Drynamix moisture management yarns keeps feet cool and dry
- High tread count and dense cushioning provide ultimate support without adding bulk
At a MSRP of $14.00, the new Hidden Contour sock boasts a 200-needle count and comes in a variety of colorways. The Hidden Contour will be available on July 1, 2013 at all Balega retailers.
