Bally Total Fitness (NYSE: BFT), the nation’s leader in health and fitness, has teamed with
SUBWAY(R) restaurants and weight-loss icon Jared Fogle to help America kick off a fit and healthy New Year through “Fresh Resolutions” — a program
designed to support Americans as they make resolutions to lead a healthier lifestyle in the new year.
As part of the program, SUBWAY customers who visit the “Fresh Resolutions”
web site (http://www.subwayfreshresolutions.com) can download complimentary two-week membership passes that can be used at any of the more than 400 Bally Total Fitness locations across the United States.
“Fresh Resolutions is an incredible program and we’re proud to ally our brand with SUBWAY,” said Jim McDonald, chief marketing officer at Bally Total Fitness. “This campaign is a natural partnership for us and we are proud to bring a strong fitness element to a great program and spread the important message that the best results can only be achieved through ‘Total Fitness,’ or
regular exercise combined with a healthy diet.”
With the “Fresh Resolutions” program, people can receive advice on how to set realistic goals and motivation to stay focused. Throughout January, people can visit http://www.subwayfreshresolutions.com and sign up to receive free “Fresh Reminder” telephone calls and motivational recordings from Jared. In addition, Jared will be making live calls to randomly selected participants from the opt-in caller list throughout the month of January.
As an added incentive, for every visit to SUBWAY(R) restaurants, consumers will receive a “Fresh Resolutions” instant win game card. One of the weekly grand prizes will include a one-year gym membership for four to Bally Total Fitness.
