BOGS Footwear Introduces New Technologies For Greater Comfort In Fall 2016 Collection

PORTLAND, OR – January 4, 2016 – BOGS Footwear, known for innovative technology and original prints, announces its fall 2016 collection of casual shoes and winter boots designed to keep wearers warmer and more comfortable so they can enjoy being outside a little longer. New technologies, like GlacialGrip and Channel Air, are examples of how BOGS continues to deliver on their promise of keeping users so comfortable while outside, that they can focus on the moment instead of their shoes.

Crafted with eye-catching mixed materials, wool blends and burnished leather, the new collection features BOGS technology – including Rebound for long lasting comfort, DuraFresh and BOGS Max-Wick to fight odor and keep feet dry and BioGrip for unparalleled traction – for simplistic and stylish designs that outperform in any season.

“BOGS was founded on the belief that footwear can be comfortable, durable and functional. Every shoe we’ve made over the last thirteen years is a product of this founding principle and our fall 2016 collection is no exception. Designed with our core technologies, the new collection is carefully constructed to offer both fashion and function, allowing the wearer to be outside longer while staying comfortable,” says David Cook, BOGS director of marketing.

Renowned for delivering the ultimate experience in comfort, BOGS developed new technologies for fall 2016 to make the outdoors even more enjoyable, regardless of conditions. For superior traction on extreme terrain, BOGS’ new GlacialGrip is designed specifically for stability on icy surfaces while Channel Air offers the highest standard of warmth by creating space for air between multiple layers of Neo-Tech and wool for comfort rated to -112°F.

Expanding on their waterproof leather offering, BOGS introduces the Carly and Carrie for women and the Cooper Chukka and Johnny 5-Eye for men. Crafted with rich full-grain and soft nubuck leathers for upscale, urban style, both collections offer the brand’s core technologies that bring comfort to life.

New to the women’s winter boot collection, the Charlie and Cami are available in deep earth tones and feature BOGS Neo-Tech insulation for comfort rated to -22°F. The Melbourne and Corbin, available for men in low and mid heights, offer an athletic-inspired design that sport Rebound technology for responsive, shock-absorbing cushioning.

BOGS will showcase its new styles for men, women and kids at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market (Booth 36179) in Salt Lake City from January 7-10, 2016. Highlights from the BOGS Fall/Winter 2016 collection include:
