Beer Lovers Help LOWA Raise $1259 for Big City Mountaineers

Stamford, Connecticut, August 5, 2013 – 2013 is LOWA’s 90th anniversary, which deserved a celebration at Outdoor Retailer and offered a perfect venue to raise dollars for Big City Mountaineers. On Thursday during the show, all Outdoor Retailer show-goers were invited to drop by the LOWA booth for some revelry. LOWABrau beer was served, stainless commemorative beer mugs were sold at $5 each and $5 raffle tickets were sold for a pair of special anniversary boots. The result: a $1259 check for Big City Mountaineers and a pair of boots for raffle winner John Hutchinson from Fontana Sports in Madison, Wisconsin. Big City Mountaineers is a mentor of under-resourced urban teens.
