January 21, 2019 (Oregon City, OR) – Benchmade Knife Company, a premium knife manufacturer based in Oregon City, OR, was recognized by the Portland Business Journal as one of Oregon’s Most Admired Companies within the ‘Product Makers and Designers’ category. Other companies in the top ten alongside Benchmade included Nike, adidas and Columbia Sportswear, with Benchmade being the only knife manufacture.

The rankings for the “Most Admired Companies” were determined by votes from CEOs throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington. To generate these scores, companies were grouped into nine categories of business, along with a tenth award for votes across all industries. Following the rankings, nearly 1,000 Oregon business leaders came together in downtown Portland to recognize the top businesses across nine different categories.
