Bergans of Norway is Presenting Partner of 10th Annual Radical Reels Tour
LONGMONT, Colo. – February 21, 2014 – Bergans of Norway today announced the company is now a ‘Presenting Partner,’ of the 10th annual Banff Mountain Film Festival Radical Reels Tour, a traveling film festival of the best high-adrenaline films from the 2013 Banff Mountain Film Festival. Previously the company was one of a handful of major sponsors, but has raised its support to a presenting sponsor because of the continued success of the Tour.
“The excitement and vibe you feel at a Radical Reels screening motivates you to get out outside and climb, bike, paddle, ski, whatever.” said Keith Patterson, Bergans USA’s vice president of sales and marketing. “That message and excitement fits with Bergans history and core values, so we are proud to be associated with and support the Tour again.”
The Radical Reels Tour has been on the road since 2004. The tour’s films were chosen during the Banff Mountain Film Festival (Oct. 26 – Nov. 3, 2013) and the collection travels from February to May and September to October throughout Canada and the United States.
The Radical Reels program is made up of short, action-packed climbing, paddling, mountain biking, BASE jumping, skiing, snowboarding, and other adrenaline sport films. The Festival always tries to keep an eye out for films that feature a fresh approach, a new sport, and a radically independent spirit.
Retailers interested in working with Bergans during film festival stops can contact their Bergans sales rep, or contact Bergans directly at info@bergans.com or 303.834.9709.
The 2014 tour began February 21 and runs through the fall of 2014 visiting more than 65 locations in over 25 states and provinces, totaling 70 shows in all. Click here to see the Tour trailer.
