Berghaus adds to their collection of world’s lightest weight waterproof jackets for Spring/summer 2016. The new Hyper Jacket blends full-zip convenience and versatility with the highest level of design, incorporating the lightest weight materials and details while maintaining or exceeding performance levels required by their athletes and lab tests.

Berghaus introduced the world’s lightest waterproof jacket at 2.6 ounces, the Hyper Smock 2.0 for SS15. Building on that success and multiple global awards for its innovative 100% waterproof construction, Berghaus adds to their ultra-light weight waterproof family.
The new Hyper Jacket for Spring/Summer 2016 weighs in at a mere 3.5 ounces and utilizing the same proprietary HydroShell Hyper fabric and fully taped construction, the Hyper Jacket comes with a full zipper and delivers 100% waterproof breathable ultra-light weight protection.
Using all the learnings from the ISPO award winning MtnHaus® Hyper Smock combined with the testing along 1200km of the Great Himalayan Trail, this full zip Hyper Jacket features a fitted hood with tab down, offering good visibility for you, and reflective logos for visibility to others. The dropped hem, elasticated binding at hem and cuffs and other details give you the versatility you need for racing mountain marathons or pushing the trails. The new Hyper Jacket will be your companion on your back or in its stuff sack in your rucksack.
