Big Agnes Announces 3rd Annual Bowl-O-Rama

(Steamboat Springs, Colo.) – Big Agnes® Inc., maker of innovative sleeping bags, pads and tents, announces the 3rd Annual Bowl-O-Rama Fundraiser for Leave No Trace, to be held on Thursday, August 9th – the first night of Outdoor Retailer.
On the heels of last year’s successful event, which raised over five thousand dollars, the Big Agnes Bowl-O-Rama will return to Salt Lake City’s Ritz Classic Lanes, located at 2265 South State Street. Doors will open at 6:30pm with the first balls rolling at 7pm.
Leave No Trace’s Deputy Director, Susy Levin Alkitis, comments on the Big Agnes Bowl-O-Rama. “Not only did the Big Agnes Bowl-O-Rama raise thousands of dollars for Leave No Trace environmental initiatives last year, it was also tremendous fun. Big Agnes’s generosity in planning and executing a great event is very appreciated. Every year the Bowl-O-Rama has grown a little larger as more and more outdoor companies are registering their own teams in hopes of showing off their Big Lebowski routines and supporting our cause.â€
How does the whole thing work? Companies from the outdoor industry “buy†a lane for $225, which goes entirely to Leave No Trace. The entry fee includes: 1 lane, shoe rentals for all bowlers, 1 large pizza, 1 beer and 1 raffle ticket per person. Each lane will include up to five people per team. Walk-in bowlers are encouraged to join the fun as well (entry-fee of $10) with additional raffle tickets being sold $5.
